LGCA Annual Meeting Recap

On Monday, May 20 at 7pm, the LGCA held its annual meeting.  The purpose of this meeting is to review the association’s activities and results for the past fiscal year, elect the new Board of Directors, vote on annual dues, and provide an open forum for topics concerning our quality of life.

All residents of Larchmont Gardens were invited. A copy of this year’s meeting presentation can be found under EVENTS.

Guest speakers this year included: USDA APHIS Wildlife Services Tyler DeLisle, who spoke about wild life concerns; and Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor, Nancy Seligson and Town Administrator, Steve Altieri, who updated us on 2019 Infrastructure Improvement plans.  We thank them for taking personal time to share their expertise and answer our questions.

Under the 2019 Infrastructure Improvement budget, the town is working on numerous initiatives. In the Gardens, we can expect the stone arches on Weaver Street will be cleaned and re-pointed in late summer, and construction of a sidewalk on Hickory Grove Drive East going all the way to Rockland Avenue to address increased pedestrian safety concerns.

If you missed the wildlife discussion, you can read the USDA Geese report we posted on NextDoor, view the Coyote informational session hosted by the Town last October and recorded by LMCTV, and take the important safety measures posted by the Town.

We hope you will mark your calendars and join us next year!  To renew your membership, go to https://larchmontgardens.com/membership
